Welcome to the 29th issue of my short & refreshing musings about life and the journey in between.

To the girl within,
One day, this season you're going through will pass.
The night's dark curtains will part, making way for the glorious entry of a golden sun, and the day you've been waiting for, for so long, will finally break upon you.
I promise that when this day arrives, a lot will change in your life – new friends, relationships, and environments, and a whole new chapter will unfold. It's everything you've wanted, all you've prayed for, and believe me when I say exciting times are waiting for you.
As you stand on the verge of this transformation, I write to remind you of something crucial:
slow down and cherish the present moment you find yourself in.
It’s hard, I know that much.
I understand your pain and how eager you are to break free from the pain, heartache, and disappointment that surrounds you. Your eyes are fixated on the promises of tomorrow, and because of this, it is easy to lose sight of what matters…. It is easy to lose sight of the blessings of today.
A wise man once said that if you've ever lost anything, it is God who prevented you from losing everything. And even when it feels like you have lost it all, the very fact that you can read this is proof that you haven't.
So, this is a call to redirect your focus from the half-empty cup that seems to stare at you now to the half-full one you still possess.
Take a moment to appreciate the love of your family, the adoration of your children, and the steadfastness of your spouse who has weathered every storm with you and continues to stand by your side.
Be grateful for the income that sustains you, albeit little…. the roof over your head, the food on your table, and the clothes on your back.
Don't overlook the simple joys, like the breath you take, the gift of good health…...and the ability to hope and dream for a better tomorrow. For many people, it takes losing hope to realize the true value of hope.
In this fast-paced world, it's easy to be blinded by pain and lose sight of the beauty that surrounds you.
I have found that hurrying through life obscures the little moments of joy and the value they hold. So, this is a reminder to be intentional and pace yourself. There's beauty in where you are today, and it won't always be there.
Savour the present, and relish the luxury of enjoying who you are today, so that when you meet the next version of you, you’ll truly appreciate how far you have come.
Take the time to soak in the goodness around you…it’s a luxury in the world we live in.
The faster we go, the less we see, but by slowing down, you'll discover the richness of life in every moment.
Remember, there's value even in the darkest times, and by being present in the now, you'll make the most of this precious journey.
With love,
The woman you’re becoming.
